About Me

👏Thank You for visiting my website👏 My name is Sangwoo Park, and I am currently a Master’s Student at KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) MLAI Lab, under the supervision of professor Sung Ju Hwang. I received my Bachelor’s degree at Yonsei University, majoring in Computer Science.

Research Interest

My research interests broadly lie in the development of intelligent AI systems, with a particular emphasis on:

• Large Language Models (LLMs): Post-training methods for improving alignment, reasoning, and general capabilities.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Multimodal retrieval techniques and retrieval-augmented systems for grounding LLMs with diverse knowledge sources.
• AI Agents: Autonomous agents capable of computer use, multimodal perception, long-horizon planning, and sophisticated tool chaining for complex real-world tasks.
• AI for Science: Applying LLMs and AI agents to research automation and scientific discovery, with applications in molecular and materials discovery.
